It looks as though the physical edition of Disney Dreamlight Valley is getting a bit of a delay. The digital version of Dreamlight Valley has been available for a little over a year now. Many players have been enjoying the overall feel of the small village and having fun decorating the various biomes.
Since early access to the title began in September 2022, developer Gameloft has made off-and-on comments about when the game’s physical release will be. The company has also been discussing when the game will finally leave early access. Those who have been waiting around for the physical release will be getting their wish soon, but it might be delayed depending on what system you play on and where you are located.
In a post made earlier today on the official X (formerly Twitter) page, Gameloft revealed that the official release date for Disney Dreamlight Valley Cody Edition is still set for October 27, 2023. This is only for North American retailers. Those in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia will need to wait until November 10, 2023, to get their Nintendo Switch Copy.
November 10 will also be the official release date for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One editions of the game in all major countries. Those who get the physical edition of the game will get bonuses that those with the physical edition don’t have. These bonuses include the following:
- 5 animal companion skins
- Cheshire Cat Sweater
- Cottage House Style
- 14,500 Moonstones
- Collectible Poster
- Exclusive Sticker Sheet
If you already have the digital edition of the game, we understand if you want to get the physical copy as well. After all, we are tempted to purchase it for the Moonstones alone. Disney Dreamlight Valley Cozy Edition has been a long time coming. Get ready to spend more time in the valley when it arrives on October 27, and November 10.
