Earlier this week, the Disney Dreamlight Valley devs shared a little bit of information about the upcoming summer update. While there is still no release date, there is more information that has been shared about the update that is sure to put a smile on everyone’s faces.
Perhaps the biggest addition in the upcoming update is the ability to get additional Moonstones using by completing challenges each week. Since many have complained about the premium shop prices and lack of Moonstones, it is nice to see that there will be more ways to get the premium currency.
There were only two questions that were answered. Thankfully, these are some pretty good questions with even better answers.
Question: Will Vanellope also be joining the Valley this update?
Answer: You bet! You’ve all been so patient and we can’t wait for you to meet her.
Question: Who will be able to earn weekly Moonstones?
Answer: Each week, everyone who participates will earn a minimum of 300 Moonstones! This amount can increase depending on your score and placement in that week’s challenge.
Great news! Vanellope will be appearing in the valley with this update. While there was only one small answer to this, it is still good to know that this candy racer will be coming to the valley.
The other question sheds some light on what we can expect from the DreamSnap update as far as the digital currency goes. Each person who participates will get at least 300 Moonstones each week. That is amazing considering we have gone so long without any additional Moonstones coming in. Those who vote as well will get another 50 Moonstones, bringing that total to 350. This is a great way to bring the community together and earn additional rewards. Let’s just hope there is more of this to come!
