Two Everdark Sovereigns have appeared in Elden Ring Nightreign. If you managed to complete the tougher version of Gaping Jaw, congrats. If you managed to complete it and the tougher variant of Darkdrift Knight, you deserve a reward. Now, we are officially moving on to the third Everdark Sovereign in Elden Ring Nightreign: Sentient Pest.
Elden Ring Nightreign Everdark Soverieng Sentient Pest Times
If you have not completed the Everdark Sovereign Darkdrift Knight fight, you will have until 9pm ET on July 2, 2025. At that time, the next Everdark Sovereign, Sentient Pest, will be added to Elden Ring Nightreign, and the previous one will be taken away. This new Everdark Sovereign will then be in the game until July 9, 2025 – one week from when it is added.
The Everdark Sovereign bosses tend to be much more difficult than the base form of each boss. These bosses start in their second phase, tend to be much more aggressive, and have more health. For Sentient Pest, rumor has it that there are two moths in the fight rather than one. This will make dodging its magic attacks much more difficult, but it will give ranged characters more options.
Past versions of these bosses had new mechanics. For instance, Gaping Jaw summoned a tornado on the battlefield that players were required to jump into via spiritstreams. For Darkdrift Knight, he restored his missing arm and attacked players with new holy attacks.
It is unclear what the new attack pattern for Gnoster, Wisdom of the Night will be, but it is sure to keep players guessing. This boss is in need of an update. After all, many players agree that it is a bit of a pushover and one of the easiest bosses in the game, especially for those who use fire and ranged attacks.
