There are many Elden Ring Nightreign players out there who believe the Revenant is too squishy and that she can’t handle the fights in the same way the other characters can. According to a player who claims to have a 72% win rate with Revenant, she “isn’t weak, you’re just playing her wrong.” The user then goes on to give tips to those who are struggling while playing Revenant in Elden Ring Nightreign and how to make her stronger.

Elden Ring Nightreign player gives tips to make the Revenant good

Revenant is a squishy character, there is no denying that. Similar to Duchess and Recluse, she can’t take much of a hit before going down. Well, user Roshoo gave some tips to make the Revenant a better character in Elden Ring Nightreign.

For starters, the user recommends that you finish Revenant’s Remembrance. This is fairly difficult, depending on how good you are with the character, since it requires you to beat multiple bosses and one of the Nightlords. Your reward for doing this is the Old Portrait, a Relic with the following effects:

  • [Revenant] Expend own HP to fully heal nearby allies when activating art
  • [Revenant] Trigger ghostflame explosion when triggering ultimate art activation
  • Defeating enemies fills more of the art gauge

According to the user, this Relic “changes the dynamic of her gameplay” and allows the Revenant to “steamroll through every point of interest completely alone in record times.” The ghostflame explosion comes in handy here because it can help take out enemies and give you spirits to fight alongside you.

Next up, the user recommends you use the Night of the Fathom Relic obtained from defeating Augur. This will increase your HP and make it so allies get healed when you drink from your flask. This Relic also has the added benefit of transferring item abilities to teammates, so you can buff them using Boiled Crabs before a fight.

Third on the list is to get used to the Revenant’s claws. She starts with a claw weapon, which also counts as a fist weapon, and is fairly powerful. The user recommends sticking with these claws because they end up doing a lot more damage and also contribute to stagger damage against bosses. The user also recommends learning where to find Seals across the map because that will give you more items to work with during your run.

Finally, learn how to use your summons correctly. You have three summons: Helen, Frederick, and Sebastian. The user compares them as Helen is the one who deals the most damage, Sebastian is best to help with crowd control, and Frederick is the nice middle ground. They said to use Frederick the most, but be sure to summon Helen to score hits when the boss is staggered and to summon Sebastian when you need help with a larger group of enemies, since his roar can stun them.
