Today was a big day for Fallout 76 fans as Bethesda announced that the Skyline Valley update would be coming very soon. Not only that, but the company shared a bit more information about the new region as well as the next bundle called Lost Treasures. There is a lot of excitement for those who like to traverse Appalachia from time to time and it is just around the corner. Let’s break down everything announced at the Xbox Showcase for Fallout 76.

A new trailer was dropped for the Fallout 76 Skyline Valley update. This trailer gives us a glimpse of the ghouls taking refuge in Vault 63 and some of the dangers we can expect to face in the new region. There are new species of creatures as well as special enemies called The Lost – ghouls that have glowing blue eyes and are electrified.

A brand-new questline in the game will have you learn about the ghouls of Vault 63 and find out the cause of the electrical storm that is looming over Skyline Valley. Multiple public events and regional bosses will make an appearance as well as new Robo-brain enemies. There is a lot to experience in the new update but if you want more, you can get your hands on the Lost Treasure bundle. This includes the Vault 63 Power Armor paint and jetpack, the V63 Chassis Display Frame, a Moe the Mole Plushie, a Vault 63 Door Display, a Weather Control Station, and a Lightning Rod pose.

If all of this wasn’t enough, Bethesda shocked everyone by announcing that you will be able to play as a Ghoul in early 2025. This is something that many fans of the series have been asking for for a long time. It is also something that we stated a while back would make the game more enjoyable. Of course, adding a ghoul character is not that simple and it possibly means that we will have a new starting point for ghoul characters that is Vault 63.
