Gameloft has officially pulled the cover off of the Disney Dreamlight Valley multiplayer features that have been hidden away for so long. This is both good and bad for the player base since there may be a subscription required to access the multiplayer side of the game. Valleyverse will bring plenty of new additions to your valley and let you interact with friends and other members of the community.
During the official Disney Dreamlight Valley showcase, the developers spoke about the Disney Dreamlight Valley multiplayer feature called Valleyverse. This appeared alongside various other announcements of the first DLC expansion called A Rift in Time and the 2023 to 2024 roadmap. Let’s break down what the multiplayer will be like in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

As part of the announcement, you will officially be able to join a friend’s world in DDV. This is huge as the multiplayer announcement has been talked about since the game was released in early access. You can not see all the work your friend has put into their valley, and you will only be able to join the primary valley and not the DLC realm.
In the primary valley, you will be able to see your friend’s house and even look inside Scrooge’s shop. You and your friend will also be able to trade items. For instance, if your friend needs more Iron Ingot for a quest, you will be able to give them the materials that they need to complete it.
As part of visiting a friend’s store, you can also purchase items from it. So, if you don’t like what Scrooge is selling in your world, feel free to visit a friend for more available options. The Valleyverse will officially release alongside the next Disney Dreamlight Valley update coming on December 5, 2023. This will also mark the official release of the game outside of early access.
