Gameloft has officially teased a new area ahead of the livestream on November 1, 2023. What mysteries await us in this new biome? Can we expect to see new characters? A lot of mystery surrounds today’s livestream, but one thing is certain, the developers will showcase the upcoming DLC titled A Rift in Time.
The Disney Dreamlight Valley showcase is going live today at 6 p.m. CET / 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT. This means that we only have a few more hours until we get to see what Gameloft has in store for us in the future. There is plenty of excitement surrounding the showcase but there are fans who are still divided over Gameloft’s choice to keep Disney Dreamlight Valley as a paid game.
The announcement was made recently on X and is meant to get fans excited for the upcoming showcase. The post on the official Disney Dreamlight Valley X (Formerly Twitter) page shows off a teaser postcard that says “Welcome to Eternity Isle.” It is accompanied by a small block of text to show that Eternity Isle will be the focus of today’s livestream. Or at least, it will be one of the focuses.
Many fans have already shared their excitement in the comments and have begun speculating what this new area could have. Based on the postcard, we believe that this could be welcoming in characters from The Emperor’s New Groove or Robin Hood. Previous teaser images showed off Gaston from Beauty and the Beast as well as Mike from Monsters Inc.
Based on previous announcements, we could see characters from all different universes appear in Eternity Isle as the focus seems to be about time travel. That would explain how EVE makes an appearance in the teaser as well. One thing is certain, fans are clearly upset that Goody didn’t tell them about the new location.
