Another Premium Warbond is making its debut in Helldivers 2 later this month. While many are excited about the upcoming update for Helldivers 2 which will buff many of the game’s weapons, a second update will be coming later this month and it will bring new armor, utilities, and even stratagems to the game. This new Warbond is called Chemical Agents and it is themed after hazmat attire and chemical warfare. Are you ready to gas the Terminids out of their nests? Let’s break down the announcement and what you can expect to see in the upcoming Warbond.

Similar to previous Warbonds like the Freedom’s Flame, the next premium Warbond for Helldivers 2 will include patterns for the shuttle, exosuit, and Hellpod. It will also include capes, armor, banners, and emotes. Best of all, the Chemical Agents Warbond will include new Stratagems. This is the first time the team has added new Stratagems to the list since the game was released.

The new armor sets are the AF-50 Noxious Ranger and AF-02 Haz-Master; both themed after chemical warfare. Next up are the new utilities which include the G4 Gas Grenade which releases a toxic cloud and the P-11 Stim Pistol. The Stim Pistol is an item players have been asking for Arrowhead to include for some time now and it lets you heal your allies from a distance.

Finally, the new Stratagems are the AX/TX-13 Guard Dog and the TX-41 Sterilizer. The Guard Dog is of course a new variant of the backpack drone which hoses enemies down with a corrosive gas – a welcome addition to the drone family. The Sterilizer is similar to the Flamethrower except it coats enemies in corrosive gas as well. We can’t wait to get our hands on these new tools. There will not, however, be a new booster with this Warbond. Check out more information on the Warbond on the PlayStation Blog.
