There is a major Helldivers 2 patch slated to arrive this week alongside the new Warbond. As confirmed by community manager Twinbeard on Friday, we should be getting the patch this week as long as there are no further delays. This information has players begging for more information on the patch but we have only gotten a slight amount from the CM. Nevertheless, Twinbeard has once again teased players by mentioning that more information about it will be coming soon.
The upcoming Helldivers 2 patch has a lot going for it. As confirmed by Twinbeard on Friday, this patch will have the following effects on the game:
- Revert patrol and spawn rates
- Visible supply lines on the galactic map
- Invite-only lobbies
- Super Samples at level 6
- Unlimited grenade bug fix
- Over 100 changes and fixes
Twinbeard posted a meme on Friday to share the information about the patch but that is all we have gotten so far. In the past, Twinbeard has teased that the Spear might get a fix with this patch as well by saying, “I believe it is, yes. Fixed in the next big patch that is.”
More and more individuals have been asking Twinbeard for an update on the Discord throughout the day but the CM seems to be keeping his lips sealed on any matters involving the upcoming Helldivers 2 update. When pressed about the patch earlier, Twinbeard refused to share any additional information. Instead, he stated that “more info on the ETA of the patch is coming soon.” Patches for Helldivers 2 typically come on Tuesday or Thursday, so we can possibly expect more information later today or tomorrow and see the patch go live either Tuesday or Thursday of this week. We are guessing that Thursday will be the day since that is when the Viper Commandos Warbond is being added to the game.
