Popular leaker IronS1ghts recently shared a video on their X page. This video is a leak showing IronS1ghts’ name in a mission showing they are fighting the Illuminate on Gar Haren. The caption simply reads, “Something to think about…” This is certainly an exciting leak considering many have been waiting for more proof that the Illuminate are in the game.
The leaker responded to multiple comments on the post with one being, “Any idea when the Illuminate could possibly come?” To this, IronS1ghts replied, “Still too soon to say. We’ll know for sure once the models are added back to the files.” They went on to say “I’d say (Hopefully) within the next 3 months, but I have absolutely no idea.” The three-month timeline is not confirmed but IronS1ghts does speculate that the new faction could arrive within that time.
Multiple users replied to the comment saying they believe that the Illuminate could appear around the December holidays to shake things up for Super Earth. Others have said they believe the faction will appear during the game’s first anniversary in February. Another user asked, “So they added the message right?” To this, the leaker replied, “Yeah, API recognizes them as a faction.” Hopefully, we will see the Illuminate soon in Helldivers 2 but it is still too early to tell for sure.
