Helldivers 2 players have grown tired of playing the game on the same planets. As far as biomes go, the game can be a bit lackluster. After all, how many times can you play on the same desolate planets against bots and bugs? Sure, there are some small changes, but nothing that truly stands out. The reveal of the Viper Commandos Warbond has many players excited, but there is one thing that is making them more excited; the chance to play on a different planet.

The announcement of the Viper Commandos Warbond was pretty exciting and there are many who are saying it is the best-looking Warbond that has been revealed. While hopes are high for the next Warbond, more players seem to be focused on the planet in the trailer instead.

Multiple users like Hengilore took to Reddit to share their adoration for the new jungle biome that was shown off in the trailer. In the Warbond trailer, the Helldivers are fighting in a dense jungle that is far different than any “jungle” we have had the chance to experience so far. This has led many to believe that there will be more planets added in the future.

Maybe it’s just me but i feel more excited for the new jungle biome than the warbound itself

Many showed their excitement for new maps in the comments with one user saying, “This gives me some hope for urban maps. The verticality of the trees is proving that it might be possible.” Urban maps are something players have been asking for for a long time. We are hoping that with the coming of the Illuminate, we can see more diverse maps be added as well. Another user added to the comment by saying, “I want to be fighting through city blocks and possibly even have interiors for buildings, but I know that’s a stretch.”

There has been no official word from Arrowhead about the addition of new maps but the trailer for the Helldivers 2 Viper Commandos Warbond gives us hope that we will see more diverse maps in the future.
