A while back, we learned that the next Helldivers 2 Warbond was on track for a June release. Typically the Warbonds are released on the second Thursday of each month. With the reveal of the next Helldivers 2 Warbond, Viper Commandos, we can expect this trend to continue. But what all is included with the next Warbond? This next Warbond looks like it comes bundled with the Predator movies because we are diving head-first into the jungle.
The next Warbond trailer has officially gone live and it is more heavily themed than previous Warbonds that Arrowhead has released. This Warbond features sleeveless armor, camo, death masks, berets, and more deadly weapons to take out bugs and bots with. Are you ready?
What is included in the Viper Commandos Warbond?
The upcoming Warbond will be released with new armor, weapons, and victory poses, and more. Let’s break down each of the items. There are even special skins for some of the stratagems.

- SG-22 Bushwacker Triple-Barrel, Sawed-off Shotgun
- Armor:
- PH-9 Predator
- PH-202 Twigsnapper
- Patterns, Boosters, and more:
- New skins for Hellpods, Exosuits, and Pelican-1
- Throwing Knife
- Experimental Infusion Booster
- Mark of the Crimson Fang cape
- Executioner’s Canopy cape
- Test of Conviction emote
- Welcome Adoration victory pose
- Guns of Liberty victory pose
- Viper Command player title
- Mark of the Crimson Fang banner
- Executioner’s Canopy banner
That is a lot of items rolled into the next Warbond. Our personal favorites besides the armor are the sawed-off shotgun and the throwing knife. The throwing knife will replace your grenade and the sawed-off shotgun is, in fact, a sidearm. Imagine pulling out a shotgun to finish off the job when your primary doesn’t quite finish off one of the nasty Terminids.
When does the Viper Commandos Warbond release?
The next Warbond for Helldivers 2 will be released on June 13, 2024. This is exactly one week from when the trailer and announcement were made so you only have one week to wait before you can dive into the trenches like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Just be sure to cover yourself with mud to confuse the Predator’s sensors.
