Hello Games is continuing its barrage of free (and wildly impactful) updates to No Man’s Sky. This time pushing for more visual additions like dynamic weather, improved reflections, refreshed clouds and new creatures. Direct summary of the update states, “Worlds Part I (version 5.0), ushers in an entire universe refresh, bringing huge leaps in water and cloud quality, as well as increased planetary variety, new gameplay features, and more!” Of course, No Man’s Sky has pushed to improve the game constantly over the years, so what is in store this time around?

But it doesn’t stop there. Plenty more fun to be had! Find the team’s full update notes here and the recent update trailer below!
32 updates is an incredible feat, especially knowing where the game began! It seems the team has no intent on slowing down either! Although one can only wonder how long they can keep up their impressive dedication to the fans. Their newly announced title, Light No Fire is still without a release date. Upon its release it may likely impact the update cycle of NMS yet that’s only speculation at this point.
With the No Man’s Sky update live, I’d say it’s time to jump back into your ship and hit the throttle! Exploring planets with the improved visuals is enough reasoning for me to return to the vast openness of the universe… maybe this time with some friends! Check it out now.
