Lies of P has received an important hotfix to resolve a prevalent PS5 save issue. Recently, Neowiz released update 1.3.0.0 for Lies of P. While this update did improve some aspects of the game, it also seriously affected the PS5 version in a negative way. Many players were plagued with a save issue that caused their saved data to disappear if the player loaded the game incorrectly.
The PS5 save issue caused saved data to disappear if you started the game by selecting ‘resume activity.’ Those who launched the game and then selected ‘load game’ were spared. Many commented on the previous post stating that they had lost their saved data. This is an unfortunate realization, especially in a Soulslike game like Lies of P.
Neowiz quickly became aware of the problem and released a statement about how to work around the issue. Thankfully, many were spared the fate of starting their run over. Not everyone was so lucky though. In the latest update to the issue, a hotfix has been released to resolve it.
This does not mean that you will get your saved data back if you lost it from the previous issue. It does, however, mean that nobody else will lose their saved data in this way. Now that the PS5 save issue has been resolved, many can go back to Krat without worrying about losing their data.
Now more people can focus on the benefits of update 1.3.0.0. This update added plenty of bug fixes to the game and rebalanced some of the past issues. One of the best parts of the update is the inclusion of new outfits. Those who download the update will get the Treasure Hunter apparel belonging to Alidoro. Alidoro, of course, is a fan-favorite NPC and the one who gives you boss weapons in exchange for Rare Ergo.
