A Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player has made a classic car. One of the standout things about the game is how vehicle creation is possible with a little creativity. That said, this is the first time we’ve seen something that looks like a real-world car.

My attempt at building a classic car

If you want to make this exact build yourself, you are going to need the following items:

  • Seven Sleds
  • Four Small Wheels
  • Two Rubies
  • Two Lamps
  • One Cut Off Sign
  • One Dragon Scale
  • One Metal Rod
  • One Spring
  • One Steering Stick
  • One Wooden Wheel

If you want to try your hand at making a classic car in Tears of the Kingdom, the creator was gracious enough to make a build tutorial video you can follow. Follow the below video or diverge and make something unique for yourself.

Since some asked for it, I made a build guide for my classic car!

Every Legend of Zelda game you can play now on Nintendo Switch

Needless to say, we are highly impressed by this build. While we are stuck using the same basic air bike, more talented Hyrule engineers are making impressive machinery. The classic car above is not the most efficient design for playing the game seriously, but we love the creativity. Link gets to be a bad driver while going around Hyrule. All that is missing is a loud, obnoxious horn.

This kind of build makes us curious about other cool creations waiting to be made. People have made amazing machines with all kinds of parts. Rockets, orbital strikes, pirate ships; if you can think of it, someone has put in the effort to make it. With inevitable DLC coming in the future, it will be fun to see what new machines can be created.
