Now that we are closer to the mid-season update, new Marvel Rivals leaks say that both The Thing and Human Torch will be getting popular skins added with the update.
Thanks to previous leaks about The Thing’s abilities, many are banking on him being a good counter for Wolverine. A dev talk about the mid-season update also confirmed that Human Torch will be getting an unlockable skin for those who read gold rank.
Marvel Rivals new Human Torch and The Thing skins revealed
According to popular leaker X0X_LEAK on X, Human Torch and The Thing will each be getting a new skin in Marvel Rivals when the mid-season update drops later this week. The skins, according to the leaker, will be The Thing Trench Coat and Human Torch Negative Zone Gladiator. We have not seen many skins mentioned for the Human Torch but one of the most fan-requested skins for The Thing has been his signature trench coat.
Many commented about their excitement over the skin for The Thing with some saying, “Take my money already NetEase.” It is clear that fans are excited about the chance to play as The Thing in one of his signature looks. We already know that Human Torch will be getting a ranked skin called Blood Blaze. This goes along with the skin that Invisible Woman has called Blood Shield. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there will be additional “blood” skins for the rest of the Fantastic Four, though fans have asked for NetEase to add a “Blood Rock” skin for The Thing. The update will be arriving on February 21, 2025, so get ready for the rest of season one.
