The role of a healer is very important in Marvel Rivals. You are meant to keep your team alive so they can keep on fighting and win the match. Without healing, the team will most likely flounder. Well, if you are on the lookout for the best healer in Marvel Rivals, that just might be Rocket Racoon. Thanks to the latest Marvel Rivals update, Rocket is now one of the best healers in the game. While it was thought to be a bug at first, it turns out that this change to Rocket was intentional and it has boosted his rating across the board.

Some major changes came with the season 2 update for Marvel Rivals. While some characters got increased stats, others received some extra special enhancements.

Rocket Racoon gets major healing buff thanks to Marvel Rivals update

User Marvel Rivals Guides on X recently posted about a bug from the latest update for Marvel Rivals. The video states that Rocket’s orbs now heal 50HP per second and “they’ve given his orbs a one-time instant heal of 55HP on the first time the orb hits an ally.” This is the important part. The video goes on to state “If Rocket’s orbs hit the floor or the wall, you can proc this one-time 55HP healing multiple times.” This doubles Rocket’s healing output, allowing him to rapidly heal his teammates during times of crisis.

While this was initially believed to be a bug caused by the recent season 2 update, the user has come out and stated that it has been confirmed to be an intended feature. This feature has since made Rocket one of the most requested healers in Marvel Rivals and propelled him to the top of the season 2 ranking. Keep on spamming those ricochet heals for the sake of keeping your team alive.
