The Palworld devs have revealed a brand new fans can look forward to catching, Kitsun. This flame-type Pal appears to live in rocky terrain such as cliffs or caves and isn’t afraid to set things ablaze (including the player). This fiery beast is shown in the release Paldeck trailer to live near lava-filled locations. This could seemingly make it a bit more difficult to catch since you need to focus on the terrain as well.

Past reveals for the Paldeck have included Legendary Dragon Jetragon and starter Pals such as Chikipi, Foxparks, and Lamball. With each reveal, we get closer and closer to knowing all the Pals in the game but PocketPair will need to pick up the pace to show them all off before the early access release date.

Along with a post on the official Palworld X Page, PocketPair released an entire trailer showing off Kitsun’s moves, location, and more. The trailer shows a player battling Kitsun in the wild, getting ignited in the process. The fight progresses for some time, allowing Kitsun to show off some of its fire-type attacks such as a massive fire orb and fire tornados.

If the level is any indication, we may not find Kitsun for some time since they appear at levels 39 and 41 in the trailer. This could just be because the player is higher level at this point so we will need to wait for the official release to find out. After getting caught, we are treated to a brief description of Kitsun that reads, “Despite its appearance, Kitsun is extremely sensitive and will flee into a cave when spooked. Long ago, it was considered an ill omen if one were found nearby.”

We don’t know about you, but this Pal reminds us of Vulpix and Ninetails from Pokémon, making us want to add it to our party as soon as possible.
