Your newly animated friend Oswald needs help. Now that you have officially unlocked him, you need to get him adjusted to life outside of the ruins. Now that he is free, he doesn’t seem to be fitting in quite right. You need to gather some items for him and show him what it’s like to live in a world that isn’t all black and white. Here is your Disney Dreamlight Valley Oswald’s Many Dimensions quest guide. Get ready to do a lot of searching around.
Oswald’s Many Dimensions quest walkthrough in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Before you can start the Oswald’s Many Dimensions quest, you need to unlock Oswald by completing the A Bit of Help From Your Friends quest. Once that is done, Oswald will be free to roam around the valley and Eternity Isle. Speak to Oswald to start the quest and your first task will be to get dressed in something that fits his style. Use your wardrobe and dress in an outfit that is all black and white. He will give you a fedora that must be worn.

Once this is done, speak to Oswald and he will ask for you to bring him flowers. Keeping on theme, these flowers must all be black and white. We recommend going back to Dreamlight Valley if you need to find more flowers since there are more black and white flowers in this area than there are in Eternity Isle. Return to Oswald and he will admit to a communication barrier before running off. He will run off to the ruins. Speak to him here. The communication barrier will not appear and you will be tasked with breaking it using your pickaxe.

With the barrier broken, Oswald will be able to talk to you and ask you to craft a special pencil so you and him can make his house. You will need the following items:
- Amber – Found throughout the Wild Tangle section of Eternity Isle
- 15 Tropical Wood – Found in the Wild Tangle section of Eternity Isle
- 10 Coal – Found by destroying rock spots, digging, and more
With the Oswaldian Pencil crafted, equip it via your wardrobe menu and you will enter “art mode.” Talk to Oswald and he will give you the designs for his house. You can now place it somewhere in the valley or Eternity Isle. With Oswald’s house being only two-dimensional, you will need to find a third dimension. The answer is 3-D Glasses.

Head to Scrooge’s Store to purchase the 3-D Glasses for 1,050 Star Coins. Once that is done, interact with the sign in front of Oswald’s home and it will be built with a third dimension. This will complete the quest.
