Resident Evil Requiem has been on many players’ minds since it was revealed, and one of the main topics fans have thought about is whether there will be a second playable character. So far, only Grace Ashcroft has been officially revealed to be a playable character, but a leak from the Portuguese PlayStation Store may have just confirmed that there will be a second playable character. Who might it be? Well, as guessed at earlier this year, it looks as though Leon Kennedy will make his return to the series in Resident Evil Requiem.
Resident Evil Requiem Character Leak Reveals Leon Costume
There have been plenty of Resident Evil Requiem leaks over the past few years. A while back, we compiled them into a list with various rumors suggesting that it would have the return of stalker enemies, and others revealing a list of locations you will visit during your playthrough. When the horror title was officially revealed, it was discovered that Grace Ashcroft would be the new protagonist; however, a leak on the Portuguese PlayStation Store shows the return of Leon Kennedy.
On the store page for Resident Evil Requiem, it lists a deluxe kit, and part of said kit includes a skin for Leon Kennedy. Leon is one of the more popular characters from the Resident Evil series, and this isn’t the first time he has been leaked for Resident Evil Requiem. In 2024, a leak suggested that Leon and Jill would be the primary protagonists in Resident Evil 9, now called Requiem.
Part of the previous leaks also suggested that Jill and Leon would be accompanied by Chris Redfield and Barry Burton, who would take up the role of supporting characters to Leon and Jill. Other returning characters have not been confirmed, but we could possibly see the inclusion of Jill, Chris, and Barry as supporting characters to Grace and Leon.
