Three games included in the upcoming rumored Nintendo Direct reportedly have to do with the number 7, though Ace Attorney and Soulcalibur are not included.
This comes from SwitchForce on Twitter, who previously hinted at a long-awaited general Nintendo Direct taking place in the middle of September. Since then, NatetheHate has backed up SwitchForce’s claim, saying it will happen either on September 11 or 12.
No Ace Attorney or Soulcalibur at Upcoming Nintendo Direct
A couple of days ago, SwitchForce posted that the games showing up at the show will include three different titles that all have the number 7 in them. They posted this morning that no one had guessed the correct combo of games yet, but followed that up with a couple of replies to people asking specifically about Ace Attorney and Soulcalibur. Those hopes were shot down.
For all of us Ace Attorney fans who are hopelessly waiting for the day that a new entry is released, not just an HD remaster, this is disappointing, but expected news. Whatever the next game is titled, it likely wouldn’t actually be called Ace Attorney 7.
As for Soulcalibur, we are not too versed in the series, but we do not doubt that Bandai is working on a new one but a Nintendo Direct would be an interesting place to reveal it.
What 7 Games Could Show at the Nintendo Direct?

As for the “7” games that are likely to show, the easiest answers are usually the right ones. First, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is still waiting for a release date for Switch 2, so that’s highly likely.
Also, 007 First Light just got a gameplay reveal on PS5 this week. A trailer showing off Switch 2 gameplay aligns perfectly.
As for the final one, we have been hearing from Xbox that they are hard at work bringing Call of Duty to Nintendo Switch 2, so Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 would be another guess from us.
Those answers aren’t likely to be the most exciting, but all of them are viable. Regardless, if the rumored Direct is happening, we’ve only got a handful of days left waiting until we finally see the future of the Nintendo Switch 2.
