Collecting Rupees in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an ongoing task that you will do a lot. Scan amiibo
You can scan one amiibo per day in Breath of the Wild, and it doesn’t have to be Zelda-themed. The items rewarded when you do this will be greater if you have series-specific figures, but you can earn some Rupees as well as other items by doing this.
Selling items
As you adventure, you will gather tons and tons of items for your inventory. Breaking open ore deposits and getting Ancient items from Guardians are some of the most valuable items you can grab in the game. Spend plenty of time looking and gathering these up to go on a massive selling spree. You can also make some good money by selling meals that you cooked with more ingredients used for them.
After completing the Vah Rudania Divine Beast, you can find the Gerudo Ramella walking around Goron City or sleeping in the inn. If you talk to her, she will be on the lookout for a specific ore that she wants 10 of. If you have them, she will give you more than you would normally get in the shop for them.
Snow bowling
In the Hebra region, to the east of Hebra Tower, is Pondo’s Lounge. Talking to Pondo here will allow Link to do snow bowling for 20 Rupees per two throws. If you get a strike, you will receive 300 Rupees, a spare rewards you with 100, and nine pins will payout with 50. For a better chance at a strike, position yourself on the right side of the lane with the right-most pin between Link’s legs. Drop the ball (don’t throw it), and the ball should roll down the middle.
