Fans eager for the next chapter of Dead by Daylight won’t have long to wait. This one will be another crossover. A preview trailer released seemed to show a Beholder in a prison cell followed by a title reveal with the Dungeons & Dragons logo. Beholders are fan-favorite monsters from the TTRPG, extremely challenging and dynamic enemies to fight.
Behaviour Interactive hasn’t released any other details about their popular online survival horror game. The game is set up where one player takes on the role of the Killer, and the other four players are Survivors trying to escape. It offers endless replayability for those that like fleeing for their lives or chasing down other players.
While Dungeons & Dragons is known to be aligned with the fantasy genre, it has never shied away from horror elements. The Curse of Strahd is one very popular horror adventure to come out of the 5e ruleset. D&D also features battles between demons and devils, necromancers and undead, many ghosts, and very creepy locations. It’s enough to give Dead by Daylight plenty of ammunition for its next chapter.
