The Legend of Zelda Movie has been announced but there are many more questions than answers. While we want to know everything we can about it, it will be a while before we learn the juicy details. Luckily, there are a few key notes that were announced early on, including who is heading it up. Who is the director of The Legend of Zelda Movie?

Who is directing The Legend of Zelda Movie?

The director of The Legend of Zelda Movie is Wes Ball. While he doesn’t have the most illustrious background, he has a few notable movies under his belt. He is best known as the director of the Maze Runner trilogy. He also directed the upcoming Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes set to release in 2024.

The Maze Runner movies might not be the most popular series out there, but they have a good fanbase, and there is a good number of people excited for the next Planet of the Apes. We would say The Legend of Zelda Movie should be expected to be a quality movie that long-time fans can enjoy. While it will be live-action, we expect there to be some CGI mixed-in as Link takes on various enemies. Many people will make jokes about The Super Mario Bros. Movie casting choices, but that movie ended up being highly enjoyable for most audiences. We expect no less for Zelda.

With the Nintendo Switch still seeing great success today, the future is very bright for Nintendo. Not only is its next console expected to come in the next year or so, but now that it is getting into movies, you can expect high-quality adaptations of your favorite series. The company is showing a great deal of trust and cooperation by working with other companies to adapt its favorites.
