With Venture about to dig their way into the Overwatch 2 roster on a full-time basis, everyone is ready to learn more about the archeological character. We don’t have the full breakdown of their backstory yet, but we do know who voices them. Here is who the voice of Venture is in Overwatch 2.
Who is Venture’s voice actor in Overwatch 2?
The voice of Venture in Overwatch 2 is Valeria Rodriguez. Their voice can be found in the following video games: WWE 2K24, Cassette Beasts, Star Ocean: The Divine Force, Genshin Impact, Smite, and more. They have also shown up in quite a few animated television series, though not many of them are likely something an Overwatch fan has watched much. Monster High stands out the most among other young feminine animated series and a few anime shows.
Probably the thing that stands out to us the most about Rodriguez is that they are an Overwatch fan, having played the game since the original iteration released in 2016.
Since the announcement of Rodriguez being the voice of Venture came out, the community has gotten a chance to embrace both the character and the real person. They’ve shared fan art, gone along with the common fan theory that Venture eats rocks, and even streamed some Overwatch games alongside Brigitte voice actor Matilda Smedius. It’s common for Overwatch voice actors to get some love from the community, so it’s great to see that the relationship between actors and the community is still thriving.
As mentioned above, there’s not much lore about Venture that’s been revealed quite yet. An introduction video looking at their background could be shown when they go full release, but very little is known at this moment.
