Dispatch is a game that took the world by storm when it was released in October 2025, with the game amassing over 22,000 reviews on Steam. Currently, it is sitting at an overwhelmingly positive review score on the platform, and it is hard to find someone who doesn’t like the game. It is safe to say that fans are eager for AdHoc Studio to continue the story of this super-powered drama. When asked about the possibility of another season coming to the game, AdHoc did not rule anything out, though, if a second season is coming, it won’t be for some time.

Dispatch Developer Doesn’t Rule Out a Second Season

We have seen it a few times. A story-based game becomes very popular and ultimately ends up getting more episodes or a second season. The latest story-based game that fans of the genre have been enjoying is Dispatch – the hero-focused tale of villains turning over a new leaf. The amazing dialogue and unique strategy-based gameplay have spoken to fans, and they can’t get enough.

Recently, Pierre Shorette, CCO of AdHoc Studio, was on the Friends Per Second podcast, where he was asked about the possibility of Dispatch getting a second season. When prompted, Shorette stated, “We’re gonna have to at least think about season two now.”

Of course, we all know that video game development takes time, with some games taking decades to complete, depending on their complexity. For instance, Borderlands 4 took roughly six years to complete its development cycle. While Dispatch could take much less time, it will at least take a few years to possibly get a second season or a sequel to the beloved title.

Currently, AdHoc has released six episodes for Dispatch, with the final two being released on November 12, 2025. The studio has been releasing the episodes two at a time each week since the game was released in October.
