Do you want to farm some Thermite in Lies of P? There is no denying that throwables are very powerful in this puppet soulslike. Items like Thermite and Throwing Cells can easily take down smaller foes or take out a big chunk of health from larger enemies, including bosses.
The next time you are stuck trying to defeat some organic foe (looking at you Fallen Archbishop Andreus) you will want to have some Thermite stockpiled in your inventory. Luckily, you can get this throwable item very early on in the game. This guide will show you how to farm Thermite in Lies of P.
Where to get Thermite in Lies of P – Best farming location
If you want to farm Thermite in Lies of P, start by traveling to the Moonlight Tower Stargazer. This Stargazer is the first Stargazer in chapter IV and the first Stargazer you will come across after leaving Venigni Works.
Once there, travel up the hill to where there is a puppet throwing Thermite. The puppet will be standing on the roof of the building. Avoid the other puppets and destroy the one throwing Thermite. This will get you Thermite very quickly. You can destroy the other puppets if you are in need of some extra Star Fragments.
You can also go into the cave and destroy the two other Thermite-throwing puppets to better your chances but this will take more time.
Where to buy Thermite in Lies of P
If you have progressed to the Malum District you can purchase Thermite from the vendor here. When you first reach the Malum District, you will run into Red Fox and Black Cat. After talking to them, make your way through the district and to the Red Lobster Inn. This building is near the end of the level.
After reaching the inn, open the shortcut back to the Stargazer. From there, go back into the inn and look for the ladder near the shortcut door. This ladder will lead you to a merchant who sells Thermite. Each Thermite throwable will cost you 400 Ergo. You can also purchase Throwing Cells here for 400 Ergo.
