There are plenty of unlockable characters in Mario Kart World. One look at the roster at the start of your adventure will reveal that you don’t have many of the characters available. Luckily, unlocking new characters isn’t as difficult as you might think. One of the easier characters to get is Rosalina. You only need to complete a few simple steps to unlock Rosalina and start using her in Mario Kart World. Let’s break it down.
Unlocking Rosalina in Mario Kart World
If you want to unlock Rosalina in Mario Kart World, you will need to complete the Star Cup in the game’s Grand Prix mode. As with all of the other Grand Prix mode races, there are four tracks you must complete. These are DK Pass, Starview Peak, Sky-High Sundae, and Mario Shipyard.
As you race on each one of these tracks, you will notice that Rosalina will be rather aggressive with her driving. This is a sign that she is the character that you will unlock once you complete this Grand Prix. As with all of the other Grand Prix modes, the racer who is the most aggressive tends to be the one you will unlock once you complete all of the races. You are not required to come in first at the end of all the races to unlock Rosalina, you just need to finish.
Once you have unlocked Rosalina in Mario Kart World, you will be able to use her in future races. You will also be able to unlock all of her outfits. She has five outfits available: her default, touring, pro racer, aurora, and aero. These won’t change the way that Rosalina plays, but they will change her look.
How to unlock all of Rosalina’s outfits in Mario Kart World
Each one of Rosalina’s outfits in Mario Kart World is unlocked by eating various foods. Here is how you unlock each of the outfits:
Outfit | How to unlock |
