Cheating has become a major issue in Call of Duty games over the years. Many players choose to use aim assist and wall hacks to get ahead. Unfortunately, there is a new way to hack the game that is getting on a lot of players’ nerves and it is built into Black Ops 6. What we are talking about is the bonus for equipping three recon perks. Simply equipping three recon perks gives you a powerful in-game bonus and many are already getting sick of it. This bonus, allows you to see through walls, making it easy to get payback on those who kill you.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is already under fire for various things such as cheaters, the return of snaking, and now, the ability to see through walls. Videos have been making the rounds on the Black Ops 6 Reddit page recently showing players killing each other through walls. This is possible thanks to a special bonus you get for equipping three recon perks. These perks are Ghost, Ninja, Engineer, Tracker, Vigilance, and Cold-Blooded. Equipping three of these gives you a bonus that states, “Enemies can be seen through walls for a short time after respawn.”
Videos like the one above posted by Reddit user BigJed7 show just how powerful this perk bonus can be. In the video, the player gets a quick three kills and then ducks under a wall. Unfortunately, one of the players they just killed had the perk bonus, allowing them to score their revenge by shooting through the wall immediately after respawn.
Another video posted by ericny33 showcases this bonus being used on the new Nuketown map. A player respawns behind them only to immediately shoot through the wall and get a kill. The main issue isn’t that this perk bonus exists, it is that it is extremely powerful on smaller maps where the spawn locations are limited. Maps like Nuketown allow players to use this bonus to their advantage and score easy kills each time they die if another player is in the house in front of them. Many are calling for the perk bonus to be removed as they believe the advantage is unfair.
