Vex and Rafa have been the poster children for the new Borderlands title, Borderlands 4, with both of them receiving character shorts early on. With Amon and Harlowe being more mysterious than the other Vault Hunters, many have questioned what makes these two characters special. Well, the question has been answered for Amon, as the team behind Borderlands 4 has finally given him the grizzly character short he deserves, and it is everything we wanted for this massive brute.

Borderlands 4 Amon Gets Grizzle Character Short

It has already been established that Amon was a member of a vault-worshipping cult, who made the mistake of opening a vault ill-prepared. When this happened, he watched as the monster within tore apart his people. Since then, he has built himself up to be a killing machine, with his in-game class being the Forgeknight.

Amon has the ability to use the tech in his suit to create weapons, shields, and more, to obliterate his opponents. These abilities shine in the latest character short for Amon called “Demons.” Unveiled earlier today, this character short has Amon confront another cult keen on opening a vault.

As the leader tells the gathered crowd that the vault is their salvation, Amon marches through the crowd to warn them of their transgressions. When the leader fails to heed Amon’s warning, opening the vault, a large crab-like monster sticks its arm out and starts murdering the crowd of onlookers. Amon quickly steps in, showcasing his shield and axe abilities, as he destroys the arch leading into the vault, cutting off the monster’s arm.

Shortly after, it is shown how Amon’s eye got damaged, as he is shot in the head by the cult leader. He then proceeds to pop the leader’s skull like a grape, showcasing the bloody nature of Borderlands 4 and the gruesome nature of Amon. We are then brought back to the usual campfire, as the other Vault Hunters continue to talk about their stories. Next up, we will get a look at Harlowe and her ties to the Traunt family.
