The Fallout series never seems to get much love. At least, the video game portion of the franchise doesn’t. While the devs seem to typically be focused on The Elder Scrolls, the Fallout series is left to gather dust. The last update Fallout 4 received was back in April 2024. Since then, there hasn’t been anything going on with it. Until now, that is, as a leaker has discovered changes made to the Fallout 4 Steam log, and they are saying that Fallout 4 will soon be getting a major update in the form of creations.
Fallout 4 Leaker States Creations Update is Coming
If you are a fan of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, you are most likely aware of the Creations system that allows players to create mods and sell them in the in-game marketplace. Popular leaker JuiceHead spoke about this update for Skyrim before it was released. Now, JuiceHead is back with another video talking about the same type of update coming to Fallout 4, granting players access to the Creations menu to purchase mods.
JuiceHead points out in the video that Fallout 4 has been getting changes in the Steam database, as well as the Fallout 4 press build. They said that these could be getting changes to give creators early access to the build, giving them the ability to create mods for when the update is rolled out.
It is unknown when this update will be added to the game, but it is speculated that it will be rolled out at the end of this year alongside what the devs stated is the biggest update for Fallout 76 that they have ever made. It will most likely drop alongside the second season of the Fallout TV show as well, as this is when the number of players in the game is set to be at its highest.
