While more simulation soccer games like FIFA exist and have dominated the genre for ages now, soccer fans have been left without a new fresh take on their favorite sport. Titles like Rocket League may have satisfied this hunger for a while but cars playing the sport can only scratch that itch for so long. The lack of a true arcade soccer game has been a glaring absence and Rematch has come along to satisfy that hunger for the moment. Once you factor in the large audience the sport has around the globe, a lower price point when compared to most games like it and its availability on Xbox Game Pass, things look to be trending in the right direction for Rematch from a sales and player engagement standpoint.
