The Ones That Got Away quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley is just one of the many quests added with the Rift in Time DLC. Given by Goofy, this quest requires you to catch some fish in Eternity Isle. The problem is, that these fish aren’t the easiest to track down. Goofy needs your help to find them all. Luckily, you have your Royal Tools at your side.

There are plenty of quests to complete in Eternity Isle. For instance, you can complete the Flying Metal Nuisance quest to get the Royal Hourglass. If you want to get more rewards from Goofy, lend him a hand. Here is how to complete The Ones That Got Away quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The Ones That Got Away – Quest Walkthrough

The Ones That Got Away is a quest given by Goofy in Eternity Isle. After unlocking Goofy’s shop, you will get access to this friendship quest during the Eternity Isle storyline. Speak to Goofy to begin this quest. Afterward, Goofy will task you with locating three different kinds of fish:

  • Dunebopper
  • Robot Fish
  • Prisma Shrimp

Each of these fish is exclusive to Eternity Isle and therefore cannot be found in Dreamlight Valley. Let’s break down where to find these fish.

Robot Fish Location

Robot Fish are found in The Docks and the Overlook sections of the Ancient’s Landing biome. This is the first area that you gain access to during the Eternity Isle storyline. Robot Fish are found by fishing in the orange ripples.

Dunebopper location

Dunebopper fish can be found in The Oasis section of the Glittering Dunes. This area is unlocked by spending 6,000 Mist. Once there, you can find the fish by fishing blue ripples in the water.

Prisma Shrimp location

Prisma Shrimp are located in The Grove section of the Wild Tangle. Once there, you can obtain this seafood by fishing in the orange ripples. The Grove is the section of Eternity Isle where Rapunzel’s Tower is located.

After you catch all the fish, give them to Goofy and he will ask you to create some new recipes using them. If you don’t know any recipes, talk to Remy and he will give you one.

For us, Remy told us to mix the Prisma Shrimp, Celery, Butter, Rice, and some Spices to create a dish called Blend of the Bayou. Bring the dish you make to Goofy and he will give you a Mooncake in return. After this, the quest will be complete.
