Plenty of quests will keep you busy in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but if you have already completed the first part of the Rift in Time expansion, you will want to get ready for part two; the Spark of Imagination. The second part of the expansion starts off with the quest called The Sunken Ruins. In this quest, you will be on the hunt for the Spark of Imagination and journey into the ruins lost beneath the water in Eternity Isle. Are you ready to discover what lies beneath? The Sunken Ruins quest walkthrough in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Sunken Ruins becomes available after you have completed the first part of the Rift in Time expansion. Once this is done, you should have the quest available from Merlin. Meet Merlin in his library and he will tell you about the Spark of Imagination. He will also tell you to find Flickers in various locations.
Flickers can be found using your Timebending Hourglass. To find these Flickers, use your Hourglass around the plaza in Dreamlight Valley, in the Moana, Ratatouille, or Wall-E Realms, and in the Ancients Landing section of Eternity Isle. You will need three Flickers from the realms, four from Dreamlight Valley, and four from Eternity Isle. We recommend getting the Eternity Isle Flickers last since you will need to go there next anyway.
Go to Eternity Isle and give the Flickers to Merlin. You will then need to follow him to the Sunken Ruins at Ancient’s Landing. Once there, you will use your magic to open the way into the ruins. After speaking to Merlin, go take pictures of each of the ruins’ chambers. To complete the puzzles in each of these chambers, you will need EVE, Gaston, and Rapunzel. Once you have spoken to Merlin about this, the quest will be complete.
