Disney Dreamlight Valley finally has its first expansion titled A Rift in Time. How to do you start A Rift in Time, though? This expansion brings you to the far-off land of Eternity Isle and introduces some new characters such as Rapunzel, EVE, and Gaston. Are you prepared to make the journey?

Of course, you won’t be able to start the expansion in Disney Dreamlight Valley without first unlocking it. Go to the Steam Store on PC or your platform’s digital marketplace to purchase the DLC. Once you have the DLC purchased, you are prepared to make the journey to Eternity Isle. Here is how to start A Rift in Time in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time – How to start the expansion

If you want to access the A Rift in Time DLC, you will automatically get the story quests for it when you start the game. As long as you have the DLC purchased, you will get a cutscene when you boot up the game that shows a pedestal land in the valley. Your character will spawn next to the pedestal and speak to Jafar.

After the conversation, you will be given the story quest titled, “The Port of Many Worlds.” Complete this quest by talking to Merlin. Afterward, meet him in Dream Castle and he will open the door to Stardust Port. When the quest is complete, you will be able to travel to Eternity Isle. Make sure to not have the multiplayer active as you won’t be able to travel with it turned on.

Interact with the boat that leads to Eternity Isle and you will get a loading screen as you wait for the new land to load. Once it is done loading, you will get a cutscene to start the expansion. Welcome to Eternity Isle the first expansion for Disney Dreamlight Valley. Be sure to make plenty of new friends.
