Enshrouded Glider – How to get and use the Glider

Enshrouded offers many survival tools that you will want to get your hands on. Tools like the grappling hook, weapons, and crafting materials are all necessary if you want to survive. Because of this, you might be wondering how to get and use the Glider in Enshrouded.

The Glider is one of the most useful tools that can save your life. Any time you want to travel far distances across the sky, you can use the glider to get around. This item also allows you to land softly so you don’t hit the ground and perish. Once you get it, be sure to always have it on your person. This guide will show you how to get and use the Glider in Enshrouded.

How to craft the Glider in Enshrouded

To craft the Glider, you first need to make a workbench. You can make a workbench using String created from Plant Fiber and Wood Logs gathered from trees. Once you have a workbench, interact with it to see the new crafting recipes that you have. Among these new recipes will be the Glider. Keep in mind, that this recipe only appears after you have gathered certain ingredients and progressed through the story enough.

To make the Glider, you need the following ingredients:

  • x8 Shroud Wood
  • x2 Animal Fur
  • x2 String
  • x2 Shroud Spores

Starting the Shroud Wood, you can get this item by chopping down trees in Shroud-covered areas. Animal Fur is obtained by killing animals in the wild. String is created using Plant Fiber. Finally, Shroud Spores are obtained by defeating enemies in Shroud-covered areas.

How to use the Glider in Enshrouded

Now that you have this survival tool crafted, you will need to know how to use it. To use the Glider, jump from a high-up area using the Space Bar. While in the air, press the space bar again to pull out the Glider.

Using this tool, you can safely glide to the ground from high-up areas. Keep in mind that it requires the use of stamina so you will need to manage your stamina use to avoid plummeting to your death. You can use nourishment items like water to increase the amount of stamina you have. This will allow you to fly for longer periods of time.
