Do you want to wave in Fae Farm? How about use emotes in general? The game doesn’t explain how to emote and instead allows you to rely on your own intuition and searching skills to figure out how to perform emotes. This is fairly common in games as others like Remnant 2 don’t show you how to emote either.

Emotes are a great way to express yourself in a game that you enjoy. Maybe you want to wave to a friend or perhaps you simply want to express your excitement about Phoenix Labs’ farming sim with a great big smile. This guide will show you how to wave in Fae Farm along with how to use other emotes.

How to wave and use other emotes in Fae Farm

If you want to use emotes in Fae Farm, use the following keys or buttons depending if you are playing on PC or Nintendo Switch:

  • PC – Press the B key on your keyboard
  • Nintendo Switch – Press Left on the D-Pad.

Once either key or button is pressed, you will see an emote wheel appear. You can now use your mouse or joystick to select the emote you wish to use. By far, the wave emote is the most popular but there are other emotes that will help you convey different emotions.

There are eight emotes in Fae Farm by default. These emotes can help you perform tasks in the game. For instance, the wave emote can be used to call over a nearby animal or say hello to a friend that you might be enjoying a co-op session with.

Issues have been reported with the emote wheel in Fae Farm. If you happen to be someone affected by these issues, try restarting the game and seeing if that helps. Most of the time, a simple restart is all that is required to fix the issue. Have fun showing your emotions through the game’s emote menu!
