Final Fantasy 16 is the latest game in the franchise and it has taken the world by storm. You play as Clive, the older brother and protector of Joshua who is the Dominant of Rosaria. Many tried the demo that Square Enix released leading up to the launch of the full game. Because of this, many more players pre-ordered the game.
Now that the game is out, it is time to claim those pre-order bonuses that everyone wanted. They are automatically added to the game, but how do you get them? This guide will show you how to claim pre-order bonuses in Final Fantasy 16.
How to get pre-order items in FF16
To claim your pre-order bonuses, start by going into the menu. To do this, press the options button on your controller. Once you are in the menu, use the R2 button to navigate to the system settings. From there, use the R1 button to navigate to the redeemable items section. This section is marked by the treasure chest symbol.
Now that you have made it to the redeemable items section of the menu, you should see your three pre-order bonuses waiting for you. You should have the following items:
- Cait Sith Charm – Increases Gil earned by 25%
- Scholar’s Spectacles – Increases amount of EXP earned by 10%
- Braveheart – Ancient hooked longsword that is stronger than any of the beginning weapons.
To claim the items, press the X button on each of them. This will claim them and place them in your inventory. Now, all you need to do is equip them onto Clive. This should be done sooner rather than later since each item gets you some pretty decent bonuses.
Those who pre-ordered the game from specific retailers will get additional items like another weapon. There are plenty of other items that you can get in the game so be sure to check every location thoroughly and put the Cait Sith Charm to good use.
