Do you want to play Lords of the Fallen with a friend? This new soulslike title has many fans of the genre excited just like when Lies of P was announced. When it comes to soulslike action RPGs, many players want to experience the nonstop death and despair with their friends. After all, these types of games are much better when you have someone to share your frustrations with.
This next-gen soulslike has a lot going for it. As a sequel to the original from 2014, many fans have high hopes for Lords of the Fallen. Since the original game was a single-player experience, it is okay to assume that the sequel is as well. Is Lords of the Fallen co-op? Will you be able to play with friends?
Does Lords of the Fallen have co-op?
Yep! If you are looking to play Lords of the Fallen with a friend, you can through online co-op. One look at the Steam store page for Lords of the Fallen will show you that the game does have co-op capabilities. Not only does Lords of the Fallen have co-op, but it also has online multiplayer.
This is a nice turn of pace for the game series since the original shied away from any form of online activity. Lords of the Fallen takes a different approach to multiplayer than games like Elden Ring and Dark Souls by not requiring items to play online. In games like Elden Ring, you need to craft specific items to play online or farm for them.
Lords of the Fallen doesn’t require you to collect in-game items and you can instead just hop into a friend’s game at any point whether they are exploring the world, taking on a battalion of foes, or challenging a difficult boss. Unfortunately, those who were hoping to play with multiple friends will be disappointed as the game only allows you to play with one friend at a time.
