Marvel has completely changed how quickly you exit a movie these days with its post-credit scenes. You don’t want to be the fool who left the theater too soon when the sequel’s next big villain or plot thread is teased. Now, we get to enjoy that bit of anticipation in video games as well. Now that Peter Parker and Miles Morales have properly teamed up, is there a post-credits scene in Spider-Man 2?

Does Spider-Man 2 have a post-credits scene?

Yes, there are some extra scenes that play after you have completed Spider-Man 2’s main story that teases what could be coming in the future. In fact, there are two: one mid-credits scene and one post-credit. Due to the game just coming out, we will not be posting any kind of spoilers talking about the scenes themselves and the events leading up to them.

If you hit the credits and are worried about missing the extra cutscenes but don’t want to wait for the names of the many hardworking Insomniac employees to scroll by, you can skip the credits by holding X. The game will skip forward to the mid-credits scene. After that finishes and more names begin popping up, hold X again to get to the second and final post-credits scene.

It is kind of perfect for Insomniac to include a couple of post-credits scenes in Spider-Man 2. Of course, you could compare these games to the great Marvel movies we have gotten throughout the years. People will always be excited for a tease of what is next for Spider-Man, regardless of what version of him it is. Add that to the fact that these games have genuinely been great and you have a perfect way to hype yourself up for the future before you go back into the open world to finish up your side content or think about the incoming new game plus.
