How you start your save file in Spider-Man 2 is not how you will end it. While Peter Parker and Miles Morales are already super-powered initially, they become even stronger after completing missions and other tasks. As is so familiar with other games, there is a level-up system here. If you want to become the strongest version of these characters as possible, you will want to do quite a lot of activities. What is the max level in Spider-Man 2?

Spider-Man 2 max level number

The max level in Spider-Man 2 is reached when you get to level 60. Additionally, although there are two characters you play as, both of them will share level progress. So, if you reach level 15 with Peter, Miles will also be at that level simultaneously. There is no need to swap between them and do some grinding to keep them as strong as each other.

While experience and level are shared between both Spider-Men, skill points are slightly different. There is one skill tree they share, where they get upgrades outside of their gadgets, but each character also has an exclusive tree. Miles’ will focus more on his special Venom powers, while Peter’s tree impacts his Spider-Tech and symbiote abilities.

Leveling up in Spider-Man 2 is pretty standard compared to most games you have played. Main story missions will give you a big chunk of experience, but mainlining them will not nearly get you to the maximum level. If you want to reach level 60, you need to do a lot of side content, like gathering collectibles, exploring New York, and completing side missions. While you have to do a lot to max out your level, Spider-Man 2 is not a drastically long game, so you won’t have to invest your life into it.
