It’s always fun when a small indie game starts to trend and becomes popular on the internet. You have likely seen your fair share of streams, videos, and TikToks focused on Lethal Company, which is the latest example of an indie game taking over the industry. However, at this point, it is only on Steam. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox users are stuck on the outside looking in. With all of that in mind, will Lethal Company come to consoles?
Will Lethal Company be on PS5 or Xbox?
As of this writing, there are no announced plans for Lethal Company to make its way to consoles. To this point, the game developer Zeekerss has not mentioned the possibility on its X account, so the whole possibility is up in the air at the moment. We would say that we are airing on the side of pessimism about it happening any time soon, though. Zeekerss is just one person, and asking them to port over an online game to three additional platforms is a very big ask. Of course, they could get help from various people and teams, but to this point, outside of Lethal Company, it appears they have only developed Roblox games.
Of course, our view above is mere speculation, but you definitely should not expect Lethal Company on your favorite console any time soon. It is definitely possible for Lethal Company to run on PS5, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch, but it will likely be a year or two before you see all of those platforms supported. The game just released a couple of months ago, so we would expect Zeekerss to be more focused on adding to the version that is live now. For comparison, Among Us, which had about six or so people working on it when it blew up, came to Switch within about six months of its popularity spiking, but the game was already out for years at that point. PlayStation and Xbox players had to wait an entire extra year. The chances of Lethal Company being on PS5 or Xbox by this coming summer are pretty slim.
