The Disney Dreamlight Valley devs have been great at pushing out updates in a timely manner. Since the game’s release in September 2022, it has already received four massive content updates with update 4 bringing in Simba and Nala, along with a ton of quality-of-life changes.
Update 4 dropped in April but the fans and devs are already looking toward the future with update 5, which is scheduled to drop in June, just in time for the summer to begin. We have already gotten our first look at the upcoming update and it comes in the form of mannequins.
The news came from the official Disney Dreamlight Valley Twitter page earlier today and shows a character interacting with various mannequins throughout their house. Each mannequin in the short clip has a different outfit and interacting with one changes the character’s clothes into whatever the mannequin is wearing.
This is a great new addition to the game since changing clothes is often a chore. It will also allow players to switch clothes on the fly whenever they want a new style. Hopefully, these mannequins will be able to be placed outside.
Update 5 is one of the most anticipated of all the Disney Dreamlight Valley updates thanks to the additions it will bring. Before this announcement, it was confirmed that multiplayer will be arriving sometime in the summer. Update 5 will also bring another character to the valley in the form of a princess.
Judging by previous posts it is very possible that Princess Vanellope from Wreck-it Ralph will be joining the already large number of residents in the valley. She may also come with her own version of the arcade to live in.
