Another free update for Disney Dreamlight Valley has been teased for a little while now as Gameloft has been dropping little hints of information about what we can expect to see in the future.

With the announcement of the update’s release date of July 19 happening yesterday, it was only a matter of time before the devs behind Disney Dreamlight Valley released a trailer to show off everything we can expect. While much of the update information was already revealed, there are still some new surprises in store that got shown off in the trailer.

Get ready to level-up your Valley with Vanellope and challenge the competition in DreamSnaps. 👾🎨✨#DisneyDreamlightValley's DreamSnaps Update launches July 19th at 9:00am ET! pic.twitter.com/QmrBOLsgAJ

Starting on July 19, 2023, presumably at around 9 am ET, you will be able to play the Disney Dreamlight Valley DreamSnaps update. The new trailer was revealed on Twitter and YouTube only a short while ago.

First off, we already know that Vanellope is racing her way into the valley. More was shown off about this character, such as her house which resembles the massive cola-shaped volcano from the Wreck-it Ralph movie where Vanellope goes after she races. We assume that her car will be coming along for the ride.

Next up is the DreamSnap feature, which is the first of the multiplayer aspects coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley. Using this feature, you can take stylish photos and submit them. Each week, the community will vote on a photo that meets the challenge requirements. Whoever wins gets a reward. All of those who participate will also get bonus Moonstones so there is no reason not to join in.

It also appears that more items are being introduced to the premium shop. Some of the items that were shown off include a new beach-themed outfit for Merlin, a scuba outfit for the player, a watermelon-themed crocodile pet, and two new houses; one a stylish beach home and the other a candy-themed home. There is more to come after the summer is over and the next update hits. For now, enjoy the start of multiplayer when it launches on July 19.
