Disney Dreamlight Valley players want tattoos to further customize their characters and they already have the perfect resident in mind. In a post on Reddit, many Dreamlight Valley fans opened up about their desire to see tattoos added to the game. Many even expressed how they would like to have their personal tattoos added by using motifs.
DDV has many customization options already in place. You can edit many aspects of your character and choose from a large variety of clothing options. With all of this already in the game, it isn’t a stretch to think that tattoos could be added. After all, other life sim games already have this feature and Gameloft already has the perfect template for these tattoos.
When we think about customization in Disney Dreamlight, we think about the motifs. These customizable images are prepped and ready to be added to any article of clothing. It’s thanks to this that many in the Reddit Thread posted by OK-Airport-4962 said that they could easily be used for tattooing your Dreamlight Valley Resident’s skin.
Some users even commented on the post stating that “Maui’s Tattoo Shop is open for business.” Considering he is the only tattoo-clad resident, he would be perfect for the job. Imagine adding a tattoo shop and seeing Donald Duck with a Daisy heart tattoo. Maybe Belle will get a rose tat and Gaston will get one of himself flexing.
There were even some who mentioned that they wanted their real-life tattoos with user sjfscxxr stating they “Have a Scar tattoo IRL (in real life) and it would be super cool to have one in [the] game as well.” As someone with a Lilo and Stitch tattoo, I completely agree. We must band together to get Maui to open his tattoo parlor as soon as possible. Maybe Gameloft should add more free holiday codes to give us more incentive.
