“This is Ruining the Game,” Elden Ring Nightreign Players Frustrated by Flask Glitch

Elden Ring Nightreign has been fairly popular despite being the worst-reviewed Souls game created by From Software. Players were quick to complete each of the Nightlord battles and bring on the dawn. One player has even beaten each of the Nightlords consecutively without dying. So far, there have been few glitches and bugs impacting the game, but one major bug is ruining players’ runs in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Elden Ring Nightreign bug ruins players’ runs

A major glitch that has been happening in Elden Ring Nightreign is affecting the flask that players use to heal. Under normal circumstances, when you drink from your Crimson Flask, a portion of your health is returned. Unfortunately, players have been getting caught in a fight without the aid of this useful item. Players have been finding themselves needing to use the flask multiple times to get its healing effects, giving them less healing for the fight.

This is simply ruining the game.

This post by TheReallyMolagBal on the Nightreign SubReddit shows off this bug perfectly. They started with six flasks and after getting afflicted with the bug, were left with only four before they finally received the healing they needed.

One user commented on the post, “I have had this same bug happen, and I have reason to believe it is somehow connected to the relic effect, ‘Flask also heals allies.’ The second I unequipped that my heals seemed to work as intended again.”

It is not confirmed that the “flask also heals allies” effect is the culprit for the bug, but for now, it is probably best to avoid using this effect on your characters until this bug is resolved by From Software. Odds are, the team is aware of this issue and will get it fixed within a few weeks. Keep your eyes on the Nightreign patch notes so you know when this bug is fixed.
