Marvel Rivals is a team shooter that requires two teams to battle it out in various game modes to determine a victor. While it is not necessary, nearly anyone who plays the game will inevitably deal damage to another player. Well, one player decided to make it their mission to reach the rank of Grandmaster in Marvel Rivals without dealing any damage and they used Rocket Raccoon to do it.

The devs behind Marvel Rivals recently broke down how often we will see new characters get added to the game. Thanks to the introduction of season one and the Fantastic Four, a new trick with Invisible Woman allows players to mess with bots.

Marvel Rivals player hits Grandmaster rank without dealing damage

User Habooskie on Reddit embarked on the journey to hit Grandmaster in Marvel Rivals without dealing any damage. They shared the news of their accomplishment on the Marvel Rivals SubReddit which included images of his stats. The user played a total of 21.6 hours with 129 matches. Throughout their journey, they accumulated 83 wins and a staggering 3,666 assists. Their character of choice; is Rocket Raccoon – though they did spend some time playing as Cloak and Dagger, Mantis, and Luna Snow.

In total, the player healed a grand total of 2,912,458 points of damage all while dealing zero damage to a single opponent. They also blocked a total of 315,984 damage. Many in the comments were surprised by the player’s dedication to healing their team. One user said, “Tbh, Rocket is surprisingly the closest thing to Mercy. He’s more healbot-oriented and barely ever wants to use gun, heals a LOT because of it, hyper mobile and hard to hit, revives one ally every 45 seconds, and has a damage boost. ” This just shows that there is more than one way to play Marvel Rivals and that maybe more players should give Rocket a chance.
