Vehicle manufacturer Toyota is making Miraidon, the cover Pokémon for Pokémon Violet, into a real-life motorcycle. You can see some images of the motorcycle being worked on in the Japanese company’s labs below in SoulSilverArt’s X post. Called the Miraidon Project, the Toyota Engineering Society is putting the vehicle together. It is unknown if this is an official team-up project between them and The Pokémon Company or Nintendo.

You know I’ve never been into riding motorcycles but this… this might just make me😂.
Toyota is apparently making a Miraidon motorcycle.
Can you imagine riding through your city on one of these!?!😎#pokemon #PokemonScarletViolet https://t.co/QgIIdN3vB1 pic.twitter.com/BH3iSfdJZ9

If you played Pokémon Violet, you know Miraidon to be the Pokémon that accompanies you early in the game and facilitates the role of a vehicle throughout your journey. The wheels on the front and back of it actually spin like it is a motorcycle, so it is the perfect Pokémon to be made into a real-life motorcycle. Koraidon, the Pokémon Scarlet cover creature, is similar in its function, but it uses its legs to move around, which would be why that Pokémon isn’t getting a motorcycle.

We would really like to see some video of the Miraidon motorcycle in action. It is unclear from the images, but it looks like the legs likely can move and act as a kickstand when not in motion. We would be interested to know if it makes sounds like the in-game creature and if there is anything else special about it. Maybe the head moves as well? Images are not doing enough for us, we want to see more.

Obviously, Toyota won’t be making the Miraidon motorcycle for mass production. This is just a promotional thing that very likely isn’t street-legal to begin with. Who knows what will actually end up happening with it once it is complete, but some very rich person will have a nice stationary motorcycle to show off to their party guests.
