Pikachu chooses luxury with new Pokémon x Tiffany & Co. collab

Pokémon is teaming up with luxury jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. to create a surprising, super-exclusive collection. This collaboration, which was definitely not on our 2023 bingo card, will only be available for 12 hours and features several fan-favorite Pokémon such as Pikachu, Charmander, Mew, Jigglypuff, Squirtle, and Cubone (but unfortunately no Bulbasaur — why is there no Bulbasaur?).

Designed by American artist, Daniel Arsham, each Tiffany and Co. Pokémon pendant is crafted using oxidized sterling silver with diamond accents. Additionally, there’s an option to buy a smaller 18k yellow gold Pikachu with diamonds. Those who choose to purchase this super-shiny, yellow gold Pikachu will also get a stunning Tiffany Blue PokéBall —which, in our opinion, is the coolest piece from this collection.

Considering that this is a Pokémon collaboration with one of the most iconic luxury jewelry brands in the world, it is in no way affordable for the average Pokémon lover. With prices ranging from $1,290 up to a whopping $29,000, you’d have to be really invested in “catching them all” to purchase just one of these pendants. However, those who are interested will need to act fast. As previously mentioned, the collection is only available for 12 hours, starting from November 21 at 9:00 AM EST and ending at 9:00 PM EST. Interested buyers must visit the Tiffany & Co. website and enter for a chance to purchase. According to the Tiffany & Co. website, those who are chosen to purchase a pendant will be notified the following day and shipping will begin November 30.

While we are unable to purchase one of the Pokémon x Tiffany pendants for ourselves – due to an immense lack of funds – this is definitely quite the conversation starter if you are among a group of people who can afford it. Unfortunately, we will likely have to keep these off our Christmas lists this year.
