Over the years, Nintendo has added many Pikmin colors to the Pikmin games. In Pikmin 2, there were five varieties of Pikmin you could get; Red, Yellow, Purple, White, and Blue. Each of these Pikmin requires you to complete specific tasks to unlock them which occasionally requires the aid of other Pikmin.
The Blue Pikmin aren’t the easiest type to obtain. This is because you need to wait a little while and collect multiple Pikmin colors to get your hands on them. Once you do all of this, you can find the Pikmin in the water just like in the original game. This guide will show you how to get Blue Pikmin in Pikmin 2.
Pikmin 2 – Where to find Blue Pikmin
If you want to get your hands on Blue Pikmin in Pikmin 2, you will need to start by obtaining the other Pikmin colors. Specifically, you will need the yellow, white, and purple Pikmin to reach the Blue Onion.
Next, you need to reach the Awakening Wood section of the game. This will take you a little while so don’t get frustrated if it takes a bit of time. You should reach this area around day five if you are quick enough.
Once you land in the Awakening Wood area, head to the right, and you will find a black fence. Use your Purple Pikmin to destroy this and continue on to the right. You will now run into a bag. Use your Pikmin once again to destroy this.
To the left of the bag, you will see a ledge with an electric fence a little bit back. Toss your Yellow Pikmin onto the ledge and go past the bag. Hang a left and go through the water where you will reunite with your Yellow Pikmin. Defeat the enemy that spawns and then use the Yellow Pikmin to destroy the electric fence. On the other side is the Blue Onion which will get you the Blue Pikmin.
